ALABANG TOWN CENTER
The Alabang Town Center is the nucleus of a 1,500-acre residential community, and a 64-acre business park, developments initiated by Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), the premier developer in the country. The 43-acre property started out with a strip mall, a supermarket and two cinemas made to enhance the core anchor, the church of St. Jerome & Sta. Susana as well as to service the budding community in the area. This initial complex was named the New Alabang Commercial Center.
Redevelopment in the 1990’s transformed Alabang Town Center to the Lifestyle Center that it is today. ATC is known for its quaint Spanish Mission architecture, with villa-like facades, cobbled walks, fountains and lush greenery. It’s charming ambiance and peaceful atmosphere has already elevated malling at ATC to more than just shopping, dining and entertainment, but to a total lifestyle experience.
Today, Alabang Town Center is focused on offering specific mall environments that are fun, inviting and reflective of varied lifestyles of the community it serves. It currently has five zones to tailor fit each lifestyle:
-
Sports, Hobbies & Fitness Zone aimed at the growing number of Health & Fitness buffs.
-
Hip Zone which caters to the ATC’s trendy and "happening" young men and women who want to shop for the latest fashion styles, dine and hang out with their friends.
- Children’s Zone, an area which hones in on the needs of infants and children.
- Home Zone, the zone for the interior designer at heart.
- Commerce is for those who enjoy the finer things in life as high-end global brands line this zone.
Alabang Town Center has redefined the "mall" for the Filipino. In the words of Ms. Miriam O. Katigbak, Senior Vice President of Ayala Land Inc.’s Commercial Centers Group, "Alabang Town Center is not just a Mall, it is a LIFESTYLE CENTER. It doesn’t just serve the community. It is the community..." |
